Hement Productions recording and production studio

A working studio built for writing, sound and production.

Hement’s studio practice is grounded in hands-on making: composing, producing, recording, editing and shaping ideas from first sketch to finished form.
The space supports both intimate songwriting and more experimental sound work, with a workflow that moves fluidly between vocals, electronic production, sound design and collaborative development.
It is also the place where future directions are taking shape — including interactive audio, world-building and the early foundations of indie game development.

Portrait of Rohini Soedhwa
Founder / Creative Director

Rohini Soedhwa

Music Producer · Songwriter · Vocalist · Sound Designer · Interdisciplinary Artist

Hement Productions was founded by Rohini Soedhwa, also known through her artist work as Tita Boku. Born in Paramaribo, Suriname and now based in British Columbia, Rohini’s background and wide-ranging musical influences have shaped an instinct for experimentation, encouraging a practice that moves freely between genres, technologies and forms of expression.

Her work moves between experimental electronic music, pop, hip-hop, collaborative performance and visual culture, combining instinctive songwriting and vocal work with layered electronic production, sound design and a technically driven approach to creative practice.

Hement extends that practice into an evolving creative house for music, interdisciplinary work and emerging interactive worlds — with indie game development, world-building and new forms of digital storytelling forming part of its next chapter.
